passion
for years, i've been hammering about finding something to be passionate about. but not anymore. i found my passion and it's not a guy...it's baking! eversince i finished my residency training early this year, i've been spending more time in the kitchen. and i'm loving every minute of it.
i've made pies, cookies, brownies, cheesecakes, and recently, cupcakes. my family is getting bigger since i've been feeding them my experiments...err...creations every sunday. although not all were successful, still i'm happy with the results considering that i had no formal training in baking except for the home economics subject i had in highschool.
my mom wants me to enroll in a baking class, still i refuse to do it. i think part of the satisfaction i'm getting from baking is trying to do something without really knowing if it would work, but in the end, would turn out scrumptious (the word my 5 year-old nephew used to describe the cupcakes).
