bahala na si batman
should i be alarmed? my friends are getting married left and right, and having babies too! in fact, two of my highschool friends are getting married this december in a span of 1 week.
for the longest time, i've belonged to the majority...the singles. during our early 20s up to our mid 20s, there was no reason to hurry up and start a family just yet. we were all busy building careers or going into law school or med school. but for the past 2 years, those same people started thinking beyond their careers. it was as if a bug bit them and they're all succumbing to the marriage bug.
unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on my mood), i haven't been bitten yet, along with a few of my friends. but we're turning into a minority group, slowly going into extinction. still, i'm not daunted. it isn't my time yet or maybe i'm not just cut out for it. que sera, sera. in short, bahala na si batman!

you're daunted. admit it. u wouldn't be writing about it if u weren't :P
it can be unsettling to see everyone settling down one by one. it'll eventually come happen at the right time just like that hello kitty phone except u won't have to shell out thousands of bucks for it :)
i thought if i'd write it, i'll believe it myself. =)
Just about the time you are not looking for anyone to have a future with, poof, there he is! You'll be in the majority soon enough. Until then, watch and learn from your friends. You'll be amazed at the changes that come along.
