new book
a new book from david sedaris! can't wait to get hold of one. but i still have to check if i can afford the hardcover or if i have to wait for the paperback edition. but the paperbacks are usually released after a year. mahirap maging mahirap.
i hope the book would be worth it. i loved his other books. they're great reads when you're feeling low and need a good laugh.

you're back! i'm back!
David had a series of book signing and readings here in Manila two years ago I think. Were you able to go? My mom and I went to his last signing at greenbelt. Powerbooks only allowed one book per person so after my turn, my mom had my other book signed. David asked my mom if she just happened to have the same name as the girl before her (me). So my mom said "She's my daughter". David gave a bewildered look and proceeded to sign my book:
To Jaclyn,
With the pleasure of meeting your foxy mother.
David Sedaris
He chatted up with everyone and was really nice, down to earth. I heard he even wrote: Bawal Umihi Dito to some peoples' books
David Sedaris is love :)
hey duke! buti naman at you're back na uli. ako, semi back lang.
miwa, that's one of my regrets. i planned on going but i think i was on duty. sayang talaga.
bwahaha! davith thedarith. i love that guy. he makes me look like a loony when i read his books. tawa ako nang tawa mag-isa.
just thought i'd revisit this post to tell you National Bookstore now sells the paperback version of the book (less than 600pesos). I got mine last week at their Quezon Avenue Branch (near Delta). :)
